Coldwater Schools To Ask For Sinking Fund Renewal
By: Mike Stiles - Wednesday, July 10, 2019

(COLDWATER) – Voters in the Coldwater School District will be presented with a renewal of a sinking fund millage this fall.

Coldwater Superintendent Terry Boguth says the Board of Education approved the ballot language during their meeting Monday night. Boguth says because of a change to Michigan law, even though this millage would replace the current millage of .9740 mills when it expires in December 2020, it has to be called a new millage.

Coldwater Schools have had a sinking fund millage in place for 20 years.
