(JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP) – Seven people were injured in a two car crash in Cass County's Jefferson Township.

Sheriff's deputies say 32 year old Stephanie Anderson of South Bend was heading east on Pine Lake Street at 6 PM Friday and failed to stop at Dailey Road. She struck a northbound vehicle driven by 60 year old Daniel Berryman of South Bend.

Anderson along with her passenger 30 year old Stephen Hayes and two juveniles were treated and released at the scene. Another passenger, 29 year old Justin Anderson of South Bend, was taken to St. Joe Hospital.

Berryman and his passenger, 59 year old Lorena Platz of South Bend, were both taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital.

Deputies say everyone in both vehicles were wearing their seat belts and the crash remains under investigation.

Assisting were the Michigan State Police, the Edwardsburg Police and Fire Departments, along with Life Care Ambulance, Pride Care Ambulance and the SMCAS Ambulance Company.
