Bronson Man Injured In Christmas Eve Incident

(DEKALB COUNTY) – A Bronson man was injured in a Christmas Eve incident in Northeast Indiana.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Department says they were sent to the northbound lanes of I-69 near Mile Marker 338 just after 11:30 PM Tuesday, following a 911 call, believed to be from the driver's child. Deputies found a vehicle had gone off the road and into a ditch.

A passerby stopped and removed the driver, identified as 39 year old Justin Wolford of Bronson, from the vehicle.

Wolford was taken to Parkview DeKalb Hospital and later transferred to Parkview Regional Medical Center for further treatment. His condition is not known.

Wolford's vehicle did not strike any objects, and no further damage was suffered.

Assisting deputies at the scene were the Waterloo Marshal's Department, the Butler Police Department, Ashley Fire And Rescue the Parkview Paramedics.
