(LAGRANGE TOWNSHIP) – A Cassopolis man received minor injuries in a one vehicle crash.

The Cass County Sheriff's Department says 60 year old Mack Velthouse was driving north on O'Keefe Road just after 8 PM Wednesday. Velthouse tried to turn east onto Kelsey Lake Street when he lost control of his vehicle, went through a curve and struck a tree.

Velthouse was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, and was taken to Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

The Central Cass Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance assisted deputies at the scene.
