(STURGIS) – The Sturgis Kiwanis Club recently honored the Sturgis High School Key Club December Students Of The Month.

The students are Junior Delanee Murphy and Senior Jimena Garcia Carmona. Both were invited to a recent Kiwanis luncheon where they were given a certificate in recognition of their service to Key Club.

There are presently over 140 students involved in Key Club for the 2019-2020 school year.

The Key Club helped out with the Salvation Army Bell Ringing along with the Sturgis Kiwanis and Elks Christmas Shoes And Boots program. Coming up they will be volunteering at the St. Joseph County United Way's Suicide Prevention Summit on January 18.

Key Club is a student run club at Sturgis High School that is sponsored by the Sturgis Kiwanis Club.
