(COLDWATER TOWNSHIP) – A teenage girl was injured in a rollover accident in Branch County's Coldwater Township.

According to the Branch County Sheriff's Department a 16 year old Muncie, Indiana girl was driving south on I-69 near Dorrance Road at 2:30 Monday afternoon. Deputies say she came through a curve, lost control of her SUV and rolled over several times before stopping in the median.

The Coldwater Fire Department used the jaws of life to free the driver. She was then taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

Also assisting at the scene were the Coldwater Police Department, Michigan State Police, Lifecare Ambulance and the Branch County Road Commission.
