(INDIANAPOLIS) - Prairie Heights and Westview were neck-and-neck for the best graduation rates in LaGrange County in 2019.

Westview posted a graduation rate of 94.29% and Prairie Heights was 93.81%. They flipped positions on the non-waiver graduation rate, with Prairie Heights at 91.75% and Westview at 89.52%.

Lakeland’s graduation rate was 83.56% and the non-waiver grad rate was 79.45%.

All three districts were down from 2018.

The Indiana Department of Education said the State rate was 87.29% and the non-waiver grad rate was 76.73%. That was also down from the previous year.
