(LAGRANGE) - A high speed pursuit ended Monday evening when the driver being chased lost control and crashed south of LaGrange.

Deputies say the 2015 Volkswagen Passat was traveling at more than 110 miles per hour during the chase.

40 year old Kenneth Miller of Lagrange lost control when he attempted to turn from 450 South onto County Road 50 West, and crashed into an earthen embankment.

Medics were called to the scene but a news release does not
mention if Miller was injured.

He was taken to the LaGrange County Jail where a certified breath test measured his blood alcohol content at .20 percent.

Miller was held on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement and operating while intoxicated.
