Weather Mix In Store For Area

(UNDATED) – Weather conditions will be changing over the course of the day around the listening area.

The National Weather Service says that a Flood Watch will continue until 7 PM tonight. Forecasters say rain will continue throughout the day with some thunderstorms possible and heavy rain. 1 to 2 inches of accumulation is predicted.

Temperatures will start to drop during the day from the 50's into the mid 30's by later this afternoon. The rain will turn into snow and possibly some sleet. With that in mind, the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 6 PM Saturday until 1 AM Sunday for St. Joseph, Branch and Hillsdale Counties in Michigan along with LaGrange, Elkhart and Steuben Counties in Indiana.

We could see up to 2 inches of snow and possible one tenth of an inch of ice accumulation.

Travel could become difficult with snow and ice covered roads. Winds will be strong and could gust up to 30 MPH.
