Constantine Student Group Proposes Kindness Week

(CONSTANTINE) – A Constantine High School student group is asking for one week where students are kind to each other.

During Monday's Constantine Board of Education Meeting, members of the Gay Straight Alliance shared about the origins of the group. Gracie, a senior at Constantine High School, explains what the group wants to do for the school district. ...... {LISTEN}.

The GSA is asking for the Constantine School Board to allow for Kindness Week to happen the week of March 23. The idea for Kindness Week is based on the No Name Calling Week that started in 2004, and which was developed from an idea that came from the book “The Misfits”.

Gracie shares that each day of Kindness Week would have a special designation. ...... {LISTEN}.

The Board of Education will vote on the proposal during their meeting next Monday.
