Fund Set Up To Help Those Displaced By COVID-19

(STURGIS) – A Sturgis business has helped set up a fund to assist those who have been displaced by the coronavirus.

During a visit to the WBET Morning Show, Sturgis Area Community Foundation Executive Director Lindsay Richardson shares how this came about. ...... {LISTEN}.

After talking with Carmichael, Richardson says they came up with a way to deliver aid to those individuals. ...... {LISTEN}.

Carmichael says Sturgis is GT Independence's home and they are honored to be able to serve in this way.

In addition, the White Pigeon and Constantine Area Community Foundations have committed $25,000 in emergency grants to the St. Joseph County United Way to provide similar aid to residents of White Pigeon and Constantine.
