More COVID-19 Cases Reported In Northeast Indiana

(INDIANAPOLIS) – More cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Northeast Indiana from Friday to Sunday.

The Indiana State Department of Health says LaGrange County has 2 new cases of coronavirus from over the weekend. That makes 38 people who have tested positive for the virus. There have been 2 deaths.

In Noble County, there were 5 new cases detected, which brings the total number of people with COVID-19 to 132. There was also another death, which makes 15 people who have passed away. Steuben County is reporting 1 new case of coronavirus, which means 62 people who have tested positive. There was also another death, meaning 2 people have died from the coronavirus.

DeKalb County has no new cases, staying at 23 people who have COVID-19. There has also been 1 death. Elkhart County has 74 new cases, bringing the county's total number of people who have tested positive to 484. There were 2 deaths over the weekend, making 18 people who have died from COVID-19. Allen County is reporting 35 new cases of COVID-19, which makes 816 people who have the virus and 58 people who have died.

Statewide, 402 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Indiana, which makes 24,126 people who have the virus. 17 more deaths have been reported, bringing the State's total to 1,379 people who have died from COVID-19.
