31 New Cases Of COVID-19 Reported In Northeast Indiana

(INDIANAPOLIS) – Authorities say 31 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Northeast Indiana from Sunday to Monday.

The Indiana State Department of Health says there were no new cases of coronavirus in LaGrange County. 38 people in the county have tested positive for the virus and 2 people have died.

Noble County has 3 new cases of COVID-19, which makes 135 people who have the virus. 15 residents of Noble County have died from COVID-19. Steuben County has no new cases of coronavirus, which means 62 people have been detected with the virus, and 2 people have died from it.

DeKalb County has no new cases, staying at 23 people who have COVID-19. There has also been 1 death. Elkhart County has 10 new cases, which makes 494 residents who have coronavirus. There have been 18 people who have died from the virus. Allen County has 18 new coronavirus cases, giving them 834 residents who have tested positive. There was another death in Allen County, which means 59 people who have died from COVID-19.

Across Indiana, 511 new cases of coronavirus have been detected. That makes 24,627 people who have tested positive for the virus. There were 32 people who have died, which means 1,411 people have lost their lives to COVID-19.

The State Department of Health also is reporting that 6,667 new coronavirus tests were administered from Sunday to Monday. That makes 146,688 tests that have been given with 16.8 percent of them coming back as positive.
