(CONSTANTINE) – The Constantine Board of Education will hold second round interviews with two finalists for their vacant superintendent position.

Wednesday night, the School Board will interview Rohn Peterson, retired Superintendent from the Roanoke-Benson School District in Illinois along with James Wisely, the Constantine Middle School Principal.

Following interviews on April 29 and 30, the Board of Education selected to bring back Peterson and Wisely for second round interviews. Because of the Stay Home, Stay Safe Executive Order in Michigan being extended to May 28, the School Board will do the interviews during a special, virtual meeting.

The meeting will start at 5:30 PM Wednesday. The Board will interview Wisely starting at 5:40 PM, while Peterson's interview will begin at 6:45 PM. Following the interviews, the Board will discuss both candidates and possibly extend a contract offer to one of the two men.

Constantine Schools have been searching for a superintendent since Steve Wilson resigned to become the Superintendent of the Bronson Community Schools in December. The Board hired Dr. John Jarpe to serve as their interim Superintendent.

The public is invited to attend the virtual meeting. To get more information on how to log into the event, you can go on the Constantine Schools webpage. Click Here.
