Two People Injured In Two Vehicle Collision In Middlebury

(MIDDLEBURY) – Two people were injured in a two vehicle collision just west of Middlebury.

The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office says 52 year old Angela Drummond of Middlebury was driving west on County Road 12, east of County Road 25 at 2:30 PM Friday. A second vehicle, driven by 21 year old Lavon Miller of Goshen, was heading east on County Road 12. Drummond failed to yield the right of way while trying to turn left into a private drive, and was struck by Miller's vehicle.

Drummond complained of hip, chest and left knee pain and was taken to Goshen General Hospital. A passenger in Drummond's vehicle, 15 year old Ava Drummond, said she had hip, right arm and chest pain, and was also taken to Goshen General Hospital.

The incident is still under investigation.
