Four New Cases Of COVID-19 Reported In Southern Michigan

(UNDATED) – Four new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Southern Michigan from Monday to Tuesday.

The Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency says there were 2 new coronavirus cases in St. Joseph County. That makes 104 people who have the coronavirus and 2 people who have died.

Branch County has 1 new case of COVID-19. Currently there are 104 cases of the virus in the county and 2 people who have died. In Hillsdale County there were no new cases of coronavirus. That makes 170 residents who have the virus and 24 people who have died.

There were no new cases at the Lakeland Correctional Facility in Coldwater, according to the Michigan Department of Corrections. 793 inmates and 34 staff members have tested positive for the virus, and there have been 22 inmate deaths.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services says Cass County has 1 new case, which brings the total number of residents infected with COVID-19 to 78. There have also been 2 deaths.

Around Michigan, 223 new COVID-19 cases were reported. That makes 55,104 people who have tested positive for the virus. There were also 26 more deaths in Michigan, which means 5,266 people have died from COVID-19.
