(DOWAGIAC) – A suspect has been arrested following the search of a Dowagiac house.

The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team went to a residence in the 500 block of Gray Street Wednesday on the suspicion that drugs were being used at the house. Officers located methamphetamine and meth paraphernalia, along with items that indicated an individual was using meth.

A 61 year old man was arrested for possession of meth and taken to the Cass County Jail. His name hasn't been released, pending arraignment in District Court.
