(INDIANAPOLIS) – Northeast Indiana is reporting 162 new cases of coronavirus over the weekend.
The Indiana State Department of Health says there were 16 new cases in LaGrange County. That makes 446 people who have coronavirus and 6 people who have died.
In Noble County there were 23 new cases of COVID-19. There are now 427 people who have tested positive and 28 individuals who have died. Steuben County is reporting 4 new cases, bringing the total number of people that have tested positive to 120 and there have been 2 deaths.
DeKalb County has 7 new cases of coronavirus. 155 people have tested positive for the virus and there have been 4 deaths. Elkhart County has another person who has died from the virus, which means 42 people who have now died in the county. There were also 112 new cases reported, making 2,976 people who have been diagnosed with the virus.
Around Indiana there are now 44,930 people with COVID-19 and 2,427 people who have died from the virus.
The State Department of Health says to date, 470,535 people have been tested for coronavirus.
