(DOWAGIAC) – One person has been arrested on multiple charges following the search of a house.

On Tuesday the Cass County Drug Enforcement Team served a search warrant at a house in the 100 block of Allen Street in Dowagiac. As detectives searched the residence, they found crack cocaine, a firearm and drug paraphernalia.

A 39 year old man was arrested for possession of crack cocaine with intent to distribute and on a charge of felony firearm. His name is being with held pending arraignment in Cass County District Court.

Assisting with the search was the Dowagiac Police Department. The matter is still under investigation.
