(ELKHART) – An Elkhart man was injured in an early morning rollover
accident.

The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office says 23 year old Terry Diamond was driving north on County Road 22 south of County Road 28 at 1:36 Friday morning. Diamond went off the east side of the road and lost control of his vehicle. He went into a field and the vehicle rolled over. Diamond was ejected from his automobile.

Diamond was flown from the scene to South Bend Memorial Hospital. He was paralyzed from the waist down and may have had other injuries.

Diamond was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
