Suspect Arrested For Damaging Sturgis Businesses

(STURGIS) – A suspect is in custody after businesses in Sturgis were damaged.

Sturgis Police say at 8:30 Saturday morning, they received a call about a subject in the downtown area breaking the windows and front door glass out at several local businesses. The businesses damaged included BOFA, Carmen's Salon and Wings, Etc. Also damaged by the suspect was the Secretary of State's Office on South Centreville Road.

Officers were able to locate the suspect shortly after the first call came in. The suspect was arrested and take to the St. Joseph County Jail on multiple charges related to these incidents.
