(BRUSHY PRAIRIE) - Prairie Heights Community Schools celebrated the graduation of their 56th group of high school seniors Friday evening.

This years class was led by Valedictorian Amy German and Salutatorian Lindsey Scheidler.

During her speech, German says the Class of 2020 has been different from the classes before them, so her speech should be different too. She didn't pull inspirational messages from the Internet or quote someone famous. She instead focused on things she and her classmates did first, that classes before them never did. ...... {LISTEN}.

German says her class will create a new normal. She says that the circumstances we are currently experiencing are only temporary. German says if they can overcome a global pandemic during this precious time in their lives, she says she has no doubt there is absolutely nothing that will stop them from achieving greatness.

German plans to attend Ball State University to study architecture.
