(NOBLE TOWNSHIP) – A Northeast Indiana man was injured Monday morning in a one vehicle crash in Branch County's Noble Township.

Sheriff's Department officials say 38 year old Michael Jordon of LaGrange was driving north on Bawden Road just past Whipple Road at 9:20 AM when he went left of center and off the road, striking a large cement property pillar.

Jordon told officers he was using his cell phone and arguing with someone when the accident happened.

Jordon had a head injury and cuts to his face. He was taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne to be treated.

Assisting deputies were the Bronson Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance.
