(LAGRANGE TOWNSHIP) – A Dowagiac woman was injured in a one vehicle crash in Cass County's LaGrange Township.

According to the Cass County Sheriff's Department, 41 year old Erica Quintero of Dowagiac was at the intersection of Dailey Road and Peavine Street at 12:32 PM Friday. She left the road, struck an embankment and several smaller trees.

Quintero was injured and taken to Lakeland Hospital in Niles to be treated for her injuries. She was wearing her seat belt and the airbags in the vehicle did deploy.

Assisting at the scene were the Pokagon Tribal Police, Michigan State Police, the Cass Central Fire Department, Cass County Animal Control and Pride Care Ambulance.
