(MENDON TOWNSHIP) – The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department is investigating the theft of vehicle parts.

Deputies say the theft is believed to have happened during the night time hours on December 6 in the 22,000 block of Heimbach Road in Mendon Township. Vehicle components were stolen off of an automobile parked next to a barn.
