(COLDWATER) – Three members of the Branch-Hillsdale-St. Joseph Community Health Agency Board Of Health were thanked for their service.

The individuals are also County Commissioners, who are leaving office at the end of 2020.

St. Joseph County Commissioner Allen Balog has served on the Board of Health for 10 years and was the Board Chairman twice. Balog served on the Finance, along with the Program, Policy and Appeals Committees. He says he has enjoyed being a member of the Board of Health, and how much he learned about the many activities the CHA is involved in.

Terri Norris of the Branch County Commission served on the Board of Health for four years. Norris, says she will miss getting the information she received as a Board member and was proud of what was accomplished during her time on the Board. She served on the Finance Committee.

Hillsdale County Commissioner Bruce Caswell served for 6 years on the Board of Health and was the Board Chair for a year. Caswell served on the Finance Committee during his time on the Board. During his last meeting, Caswell reminded the CHA to always remember the citizens whose taxes pay for the services the Health Department provides.

CHA Health Officer Rebecca Burns says the CHA has received excellent service from Commissioners Balog, Norris and Caswell, and sincerely thank them for the time they spent guiding the Health Department. Burns says the CHA wishes them all well in their next endeavor.
