(LAGRANGE) – The Lakeland School Corporation welcomed two new members to their School Board.

During Monday's meeting, Derrick Sherck of District 3 and Jessica Holbrook of District 5 took their oath of office. They were joined by incumbent board member Sue Keenan of District 4. Judge Bill Walz administered the oath.

Holbrook replaces Carey McKibben on the Board and Sherck takes over for Bob Murphy. Keenan ran unopposed in the November General Election.

Murphy was honored for the 12 years he was on the Board of Education over two terms. The first was from 2004 to 2008 and then from 2012 to 2020. McKibben also served 12 years, from 2008 to 2020.
