(ELKHART) – A one vehicle crash southeast of Elkhart injured the driver.

The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office says 54 year old Tamara Pluimer of Middlebury was driving west on State Road 120 just before 11 AM Monday when she went of the north side of the road. The initial investigation shows the cause of the crash was medical related.

Pluimer was taken to Elkhart General Hospital. Disciplinary action could be handed down, pending further investigation.
