(LOCKPORT TOWNSHIP) – The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department is investigating two break ins in the Tamarac Subdivision in Lockport Township.

Deputies were sent to Eagle Drive for a breaking and entering to an outbuilding. They were also sent to Falcon Court for a larceny from a vehicle. It's believed the incidents are related and occurred on the night of December 26.

Sheriff Mark Lillywhite is recommending that citizens keep valuable items secured and to lock their vehicles, residences and outbuildings.
