Man Injured In Vehicle v Horse Collision

(CALIFORNIA TOWNSHIP) – The driver of an SUV was injured when his vehicle struck a horse.

Michigan State Police were called to Southern Road near Delmar Road in Branch County's California Township at 5 AM Friday. Troopers say 65 year old Randall Null of Camden struck the horse, which got away from a nearby parcel.

Null said he had neck pain and was taken to a local hospital. The horse did not survive.

The Fremont, Indiana Fire Department and Life Care Ambulance assisted troopers at the scene.
