(COLDWATER) – An Angola man had been sentenced in Michigan after entering into a plea agreement on sex crimes.

Branch County Circuit Court officials say that Berlin Hasch II entered pleas of guilty to two charges of second degree criminal sexual conduct and a charge of sexual assault. He was originally charged with three counts of first degree criminal sexual conduct.

Hasch was arrested following an investigation by Michigan State Police into incidents that allegedly happened between October 2019 and January 2020 with an 11 year old boy.

Hasch's sentences will run concurrently. He will serve between 3 and a half and 15 years in prison. He was given credit for 340 days already served.
