(CENTREVILLE) – The Centreville Board Of Education took another step towards finding an interim Superintendent.

During their meeting Monday, the Centreville School Board discussed the names of some possible interim Superintendents that could fill in for the remainder of the 2021-2022 school year. Current Superintendent Stephanie Lemmer is leaving at the end of the month to become the Superintendent of the B.C. Pennfield School District.

Some of the names mentioned by the Board of Education were current Centreville High School Principal Chad Brady; Nottawa School Principal and Superintendent Jerome Wolfe, and John Jarpe, who recently served as the Constantine Schools Interim Superintendent.

The Board will reach out to these individuals and a few others. They hope to name an interim Superintendent during their January 24 meeting.

In a related matter, the School Board decided that they would work with the Michigan Association Of School Boards to aid them in their search for a permanent Superintendent.
