(HUDSON) – A search warrant for a wanted suspect resulted in the arrest of four people.

The LaGrange County Sheriff's Department says in a news release they were notified last Thursday just before 1 PM that a wanted person, Jeremy Tuttle, was at a residence at 11990 East Country Road 600 South in Hudson.

Earlier that morning, Tuttle, who is from Stroh, had been seen at the residence, but hadn't been seen leaving. Deputies attempted to get someone to answer the door, but no one responded.

Police applied for and received a search warrant for the home.

The homeowner, Mary Dolch, was inside the residence, along with Nathan Harter and Morgan Cusick.

Deputies searched the residence for Tuttle and found a hidden compartment that was concealed in a bedroom of the home. Tuttle was apprehended under the trailer and taken into custody.

Authorities had been looking for Tuttle since January 8 after a police chase after officers tried to make a traffic stop. Tuttle was the suspected drivers of a stolen vehicle from Hudson. The vehicle was found a short time later unoccupied, but evidence pointed authorities to Tuttle.

Tuttle was arrested and booked into the LaGrange County Jail on charges of failure to appear in DeKalb County, resisting law enforcement, theft of an automobile and resisting law enforcement by fleeing in a motor vehicle.

Dolch, Harter and Cusick were arrested and booked into the LaGrange County Jail on preliminary charges of aiding a criminal and obstruction of justice. Additional charges are anticipated.
