(CALIFORNIA TOWNSHIP) – A collision led to milk being spilled on a roadway at 9:45 Friday morning.
According to the Branch County Sheriff's Department, 20 year old Kimberly Walkup of Allen was driving north on Ray-Quincy Road in California Township. She told deputies she looked at a map on her phone and when she looked up, she saw an Amish milk wagon. Walkup tried to avoid the wagon but struck it, causing the milk cans to spill.
Both Walkup and the driver of the wagon, 18 year old Chris Eicher of Quincy, complained of minor injuries. Walkup was given a ticket by deputies.
