(BRONSON) – An early morning accident sent a woman to the hospital.

Michigan State Police from the Coldwater Detachment say a woman slid through the intersection of Corey and Wayne Streets in Bronson at 2:30 Monday morning, and struck a pole.

The woman was transported by Life Care Ambulance to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital to be treated for what was reported as minor injuries. She was also given a citation for speeding.

The Bronson Fire Department was also called to the scene.
