(COLDWATER) – A Quincy man who allegedly did damage with a BB gun has had his case moved to Branch County Circuit Court.
District Court officials say 44 year old Ricky Dale Cox II waived his preliminary hearing on two counts of malicious destruction of property between $1,000 and $20,000 and a count of breaking and entering a building with intent. He will have a plea hearing on those charges March 25.
Cox was arrested February 4 following a joint investigation between the Coldwater, Quincy and Michigan State Police Departments. Over 30 reports of BB vandalism were investigated in Coldwater and Quincy. Business and residential windows were damaged.
