Driver Injured In Cass County Crash

(PORTER TOWNSHIP) – A one vehicle crash sent a person to the hospital.

The Cass County Sheriff's Department says deputies were called to
investigate a single vehicle crash at 1:30 PM Sunday on M-40 south of Spatterdock Lake Street in Porter Township.

63 year old Randy Wilson Riley was driving north on M-40 when he went off the roadway and struck a tree. Riley was treated at the scene by the Newburg Fire Department and EMS, and then taken to Elkhart General Hospital.

Deputies say Riley was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, which is still under investigation.
