Sturgis Police Make Arrest Sunday Night

(STURGIS) – Authorities arrested a man over the weekend on multiple charges.
Sturgis Police were called to the 700 block of South Centreville Road at 6:30 PM Sunday for a suspicious person in a parking lot. Officers arrived and identified the person as having out-standing warrants.
As they continued their investigation, police discovered the suspect was also in possession of a stolen vehicle out of Indiana.
The 23 year old Sturgis man was arrested on charges of the out-standing warrants, possession of a stolen vehicle and carrying a concealed weapon. He is being held in the St. Joseph County Jail.
