(ADAMS TOWNSHIP) – A Coldwater woman was killed in a crash Saturday morning in Hillsdale County's Adams Township.
According to the Hillsdale Daily News, the Hillsdale County Sheriff's Department was told by a passerby that 76 year old Clara Wolfcale was driving northeast on State Road near Gay Road just before 11 AM when she lost control of her vehicle. Wolfcale went off the road and struck a tree.
Area fire fighters and paramedics were called to the scene. They removed Wolfcale from her vehicle and administered first aid, but she was pronounced dead from the injuries she sustained.
The incident remains under investigation.
