(COLDWATER) – A St. Joseph County man is facing a charge following an alleged incident with a teen age boy.
Michigan State Police say 43 year old Arthur Brown of Fawn River Township turned himself into the Branch County Jail on Monday. Troopers had been investigating Brown's alleged use of a cell phone to send pornography to a 15 year old boy. Police say they were notified of the incident after the teen told his foster care mother about what had happened.
Branch County District Court officials say Brown was arraigned Tuesday on a charge of using a computer to distribute pornography to a minor. Bond was set at $10,000. He will have a probable cause hearing on June 13 and a preliminary examination on June 18.
