(BURR OAK TOWNSHIP) – Authorities are asking for the public's help in finding a wanted man.
St. Joseph County Sheriff Brad Balk says his deputies were sent to the area of Kelly Road near Carpenterson Road in Burr Oak Township at 11 PM Monday because several suspicious vehicles were noticed. While making contact with the involved vehicles, one of the drivers, identified as 36 year old Corey Roggow, ran away from deputies on foot into a wooded area.
The Michigan State Police K-9 officer along with Sturgis Police were called in to help locate Roggow, but they were unsuccessful.
Deputies discovered Roggow has several outstanding warrants for his arrest out of St. Joseph County, as well as a suspended license. He is known to frequent the Burr Oak area.
Roggow is a white male, 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 200 pounds. He has short brown hair, green eyes and a goatee.
If anyone has information on his location they are asked to call St. Joseph County Central Dispatch at 269-467-4195.
