Veterans Honored Today At Branch County Fair

(COLDWATER) – The 2017 Branch County Fair continues its week long run with another day full of activities.

Today is Veterans Day at the fair. All Veterans get in for free, they only have to pay for parking. Also, all children 10 and under get in free today.

Today's events include the dog show in the 4-H cabin pavilion; small animal events going on in the small animal barn, and the stock farm tractor pulls in the Amphitheater at 11:30 AM.

The youth talent show will be going on today in the Dearth Center. At
10 AM, children ages 4 to 12 will compete and then at 1:30 PM children ages 13-19 will take the stage. Following the afternoon portion, the open talent show will take place.

Also going on this afternoon is the hippology contest in the 4-H cabin; the goat showmanship followed by the market and breed classes in the show shelter.

The junior baseball tournament continues at 4:30 PM and the horse and pony costume class will take place in the horse arena.

There will be a Veterans Program at 6 PM in the Dearth Center.

At 7:30 PM, the MOD, FWD, Super Farm and Super Stock Combo Tractor Pulls will take place in the Amphitheater. Tickets for the event are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
