Three Rivers Man Injured In Crash On Sunday

(FLORENCE TOWNSHIP) – A Three Rivers man was taken to the hospital following a one vehicle crash Sunday night, according to Michigan State Police.

Troopers from the White Pigeon Detachment say a 22 year old Three Rivers man was driving his jeep south on Lutz road at 11:10 PM Sunday when the vehicle crossed the center line and the northbound lane, went of the road and struck a tree.

The driver was taken to Three Rivers Health with non life threatening injuries. He told troopers he swerved to avoid a deer.

Alcohol and drugs are believed to be possible factors in the crash which remains under investigation.
