(GRAND RAPIDS) – The Glen Oaks men's basketball team beat the host Aquinas College JV team 72-67 in Saturday night action. Glen Oaks would jump out to an early double digit lead, but Aquinas would use their 3 point shooting to narrow the gap and keep the game close, but could not get the win. JoMel Boyd led Glen Oaks with 26 points and 15 rebounds on the night. Whitney Harris added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists. LeAngelo Saravia had 10 points and 4 rebounds while Reece Hershbach had 6 points and 6 rebounds. Glen Oaks is now 3-0 and will host Owens Express on Tuesday.
