(UNDATED) – It was a busy weekend for the Sturgis bowling teams. They started Friday in Bronson at the first annual Viking Invitational. The Lady Trojans finished sixth in the qualifying round and missed cut. The Sturgis boys qualified third, then beat No. 2 seed Vicksburg in the semifinals, before falling to No. 1 seed Coldwater in the finals. Then on Sunday, the Trojans teams participated in the Flint Metro League Open. The Sturgis boys finished 12th with a pinfall total of 2784. The Lady Trojans were 18th and had a total of 1983.
