(ANN ARBOR) – Michigan basketball remains busy on the recruiting trail. And while the Wolverines are still putting together the 2021 class, it appears they also have turned their attention to 2022. A pair of in-state prospects, Grand Blanc's Ty Rodgers and Clarkston's Fletcher Loyer, announced offers from Michigan the past several days. Loyer, who announced his offer May 30, was the second in-state prospect in the 2022 class to be offered by Michigan after Emoni Bates, the nation's No. 1 overall recruit, received an offer July 18, 2019. Loyer, the younger brother of Michigan State guard Foster, is a 6-foot-4 guard who also holds offers from Denver, Detroit and Toledo. He is currently unranked. Rodgers, who plays for Grand Blanc High School, reported his offer Monday afternoon. The 6-4 wing is a four-star prospect and the No. 56 overall recruit in the 2022 class, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He has offers from Ohio State, Marquette, Houston and Rhode Island, among others.
