Angola girls knock off No. 5 Garrett 44-38 in NECC Tournament
(ANGOLA) – Angola's defense was on full display as the Lady Hornets got a win at home over No. 5 Garrett 44-38 in the second round of the NECC Tournament. Hanna Knoll had 17 points to lead the host Lady Hornets on the night. Riley Pepple added 14 points in the win and Lauren Leach had 10 points. Morgan Ostrowski had 15 points to pace Garrett and Bailey Kelham had 11 points. Angola is now 12-3 and will face Fairfield in semifinal action. Garrett is now 15-2.
