Michigan State beats No. 4 Ohio State 71-67

(EAST LANSING) – Aaron Henry scored 18 points to help Michigan State beat visiting No. 4 Ohio State 71-67 and improve their chances of making the NCAA Tournament. The win came two days after the Spartans beat No. 5 Illinois. The Spartans rallied from a nine-point, second-half deficit against Ohio State with Gabe Brown finishing with 11 points and Josh Langford making key plays at both ends of the court. The Buckeyes closed the game without coach Chris Holtmann, who was ejected for arguing with officials when he was called for a second technical foul with 1.4 seconds left. E.J. Liddell had 18 points for the Buckeyes and Duane Washington had 17 points. Michigan State improves to 13-9 overall and 7-9 in the Big Ten. Ohio State is 18-6 and 12-6 in the conference.
