(MENDON) – Mendon watched their second half lead slip away, but they were able to hold on a get a Southwest 10 girls basketball win as they beat visiting Hartford 40-34. Mendon was led by Payton Griffith with 24 points, 10 steals, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. Makennah Mullins added 7 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists while Jozryl Meeks had 7 points and 2 rebounds. Mendon is now 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the Southwest 10. Hartford is 4-3 and 2-2 in the conference.
