(UNDATED) – Two area student-athletes have received a special post season honor. Mendon junior Payton Griffith and Colon freshman Reese Williams were both selected to the AP Division 4 All State Girls Basketball team for 2021. Griffith and Williams were both named to the Honorable Mention All State squad. Griffith helped the Lady Hornets make it to the District Finals where they fell to Williams and the Lady Magi. The Colon girls would lose in the Regional finals to Martin.
